Welcome to Sindoor Packers and Movers. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and obligations governing your use of our relocation services, website, and related offerings. By booking our services or accessing our platform, you agree to abide by these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not proceed with our services.

Effective as of May 09, 2025, these terms apply to all clients, whether individuals, families, or organizations.

Service Description

Sindoor Packers and Movers offers comprehensive relocation solutions, including home shifting, corporate moves, vehicle transport, and temporary storage. Each service’s scope will be detailed in the quotation or agreement provided to you.

We may decline to transport items deemed unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate.

Services depend on availability, and we may engage third-party contractors for specific tasks.

Reservations and Payments

1. Reservation Process

To secure a service, you must submit detailed information about your move, including pickup and delivery locations and a list of items. A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as outlined in the quotation.

2. Payment Requirements

• Payments are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) via bank transfer, card payments, or UPI.
• A deposit of at least 25% of the total cost is required to finalize the booking.
• Full payment is due before or upon completion of the service, unless otherwise specified.
• Overdue payments will incur a 1.5% weekly late fee on the outstanding balance.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled service qualify for a full deposit refund, less a 5% administrative fee.
• Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
• No refunds are available for partially or fully completed services.

Client Obligations

As a client, you are responsible for:

• Providing precise details about the items to be moved, including any fragile or valuable goods.
• Ensuring items are ready for transport if you opt out of our packing services.
• Disclosing any restricted or sensitive items prior to the move.
• Securing any required permissions for access to pickup or delivery sites.
• Being available or designating a representative during pickup and delivery.

Liability and Coverage

1. Our Responsibility

We take utmost care to handle and transport your items safely. However, we are not responsible for:

• Damage or loss due to unforeseen events like floods, earthquakes, or civil unrest.
• Issues with items not packed by us, unless caused by our direct negligence.
• Loss of undocumented or undeclared items.

2. Coverage Options

Optional transit coverage is available to protect against potential damage or loss. You must request this when booking and pay the associated fee. Claims must be submitted within 5 days of delivery with appropriate evidence.

Restricted Items

We do not transport:

• Dangerous goods (e.g., chemicals, gases, or fireworks)
• Illegal or controlled substances
• Perishable items or food
• Animals or plants
• Items banned under Indian regulations

We may inspect items and refuse to transport restricted goods without liability.

Unavoidable Delays

While we aim to meet agreed timelines, delays may occur due to:

• Road or traffic issues
• Adverse weather conditions
• Regulatory restrictions or curfews
• Vehicle malfunctions

We will inform you of delays and take steps to resolve them promptly.

Resolving Disputes

Any disagreements related to these terms or our services will first be addressed through mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, governed by Indian law.

Term Modifications

We may revise these Terms and Conditions to reflect operational or legal updates. Changes will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued engagement with our services after updates indicates your acceptance.
